ve{\'{\i}}culo controlado) comprometem tanto a estabilidade como
arquiteturas bilaterais tradicionais n{\~a}o funcionam. Neste
escravo e do alvo+ambiente atrav{\'e}s do mestre, e o comando
para o escravo virtual local tamb{\'e}m {\'e} enviado para o
escravo real.
as for{\c{c}}as do contato crescem rapidamente resultando na
oscila{\c{c}}{\~a}o do escravo.
at{\'e} 3 s (total ida e volta de 6 s) a arquitetura proposta
mestre e o escravo {\'e} obtido. ABSTRACT: Currently, there is
significant effort to put in place by various space agencies to
develop the technology to refuel or repair inactive orbiting
satellites (target+environment) aiming to reuse them for a number
of more years until they become non-repairable. However, the
existing delays between the main local robot (master, at the
command base) and the remote robot (slave, at the controlled
vehicle) compromise both the stability and performance of
telerobotic systems. When the time delay is large (typically over
0,5 s), the traditional bilateral controllers do not work. In this
document, we study a command and control architecture for
telerobots docked at their targets under significant time delays.
This architecture is based on reflective impedance, in which the
operator interacts with local models of the slave and
target+environment through the master, and the command for the
local virtual slave is also sent to the actual slave. An important
key to the success of these systems is to have the local virtual
slave synchronized with the actual slave. This is especially
important when the slave gets in contact with a rigid
target+environment, that is, when the force of contact builds up
rapidly resulting in oscillation of the slave. Through simulations
and experiments with time delays of up to 3 s (round-trip delay of
6 s) the proposed architecture shows that a stable and
satisfactory contact between the master and the slave is
obtained.",
